KohlMark Builders and KohlMark Architects strive to lend their services to help a worthy organization or cause whenever possible. KohlMark Builders annually participates in the Rebuilding Together nationwide effort to revitalize houses for low-income homeowners. The firm is also an active financial and volunteer contributor to Habitat for Humanity, the Fannie Mae Foundation Help the Homeless Program, and a host of other local and national charities. Essential to the success of the KohlMark Group is its commitment to giving back to the community.

Rebuilding Together Alexandria is a non-profit organization that is committed to donating home repairs to the in-need families of the Alexandria, Virginia community. They are part of a national network of over 200 affiliates working to preserve affordable homeownership and to revitalize neighborhoods by providing home repair services free of charge to those who are physically or financially unable to perform these repairs.

Habitat of Humanity of Northern Virginia is a non-profit organization whose goal is to eliminate poverty and homelessness by building adequate and affordable housing. Mark Kohler is an active member on the Board of Directors. KohlMark Group encourages all of its clients to donate any reusable material from their renovation project to the Habitat for Humanity ReStore, to be re-sold with all proceeds benefiting Habitat and their mission.
